headache

Having headache occasionally is quite common to all, and there is nothing to worry. If it is constant or recurring, it creates in many patients a stress. Instantly they rush to their family care doctor or to a special clinic with a fear that it may be one of the brain tumor symptoms. If the doctor suspects symptoms of brain tumor, the patient feels highly afraid of his pathetic condition with each and everything. Sometimes, stress causes tension headache symptoms which are identified as ‘secondary’ since stress is the organism’s total response to environmental demands or pressures. traumatic brain injury

Our soldiers have the most advanced protective gear and medical treatment they have ever had during a time of war. This means that more soldiers than ever are surviving combat. It also means that those who are injured can survive with more serious injuries than ever before. The combination of high survival rates and the increased use of explosives, means that many soldiers are coming home with amputations and head injuries, making traumatic brain injury (TBI) the signature wound of the war in Iraq.

Brain exercise

Brain exercise may simply be a new fad or a real way to avoid Alzheimer’s, aphasia and memory loss that typically accompanies the aging process. If you look at all of the combined research, it appears that the effective brain exercises are those that are new to you. For example, if you currently work Sudoku puzzles and you’ve been doing them for years, you need a different brain exercise. If you currently play the same video game over and over again, try a different one.

IQ test

Everyone has heard of an IQ test. The potential of the brain is called intelligence quotient or I.Q. These tests use the theories of unitary and multiple, which is believed to the two main theories when studying the brain.

Unitary refers to the part of the brain where the linguistic and mathematical capacities and confined them to that area. While the multiply theory include the parts of the brain that use visual/ spatial, musical/rhythmic, body/kinesthetic, interpersonal or intrapersonal development.
